Carelle's work is rich in references to the history of sports. She likes to deconstruct the elements of sport, going back to its roots and exploring the explorers. While her work is contemporary, she brings a vintage feel to each piece.

She was born to an Irish/French Canadian family in 1970s Montréal. By fourteen, she was using various media to create pictures - among them drawing and acrylics. She learned photography and lighting at a young age working by her father’s side in the family studio. She was airbrushing photographs before Photoshop existed. She is passionate about the dark ROOM AND ITS INFINITE POSSIBILITIES.

Based in North Vancouver, British Columbia, Carelle is a visual artist, graphic and web designer, which reflects her multi-faceted training. She enjoys her children, the outdoors and riding her bicycle as much as possible. She participated in a number of group shows including CARDED! Trading Card Art Show and Hot One Inch Action Art Show. She is currently planning her first solo exhibition. More details to come.

Issue d’une famille québéco-irlandaise, Carelle est née à Montréal dans les années 1970. À quatorze ans, elle créait déjà avec différents moyens d’expression, dont le dessin et l’acrylique. Travaillant aux côtés de son père dans le studio familial, elle apprit les rudiments de la photo et de l’éclairage à un jeune âge. Carelle retouchait des photos bien avant l’arrivée de Photoshop. Elle adore la chambre noire et toutes les possibilités créatives de cet atelier.

Établie à Vancouver, Carelle est à la fois artiste visuelle, graphiste et conceptrice Web, et tire profit de ses études multidisciplinaires. Mère dévouée, elle adore le plein air et enfourche son vélo chaque fois qu’elle en a la chance. Carelle a participé à plusieurs expositions de groupe, y compris CARDED! Trading Card Art Show et Hot One Inch Action Art Show. Elle travaille actuellement sur sa première exposition solo.
